As promised, here are the first pictures of the NEW, Blue Thunder 'THOR' Generation 2 Cylinder heads. Gen 1 Head ports on top, Gen 2 below.

Note that the Intake & Exhaust ports now come a little LARGER than the Generation 1 Heads that had to be CNC'd before use.

These Heads flow 540 cfm @.750" AS IS(Intake with a 2.50" Valve), and are ready to use with basically a sand roll to the ports. Of course, if you need MORE than that, you can have them hand, or CNC ported to increase these numbers.

I have 2 sets of these. 1 is for my use, and one will be for sale(later).

Several other design improvements will make this the best wedge head out there, bar NONE, and may come very close to a HEMI Head. Time will tell.

I am doing a 598" 4V THOR Headed engine for my personal use, and will post progress here for those interested in THOR Heads occasionally.

Thanks, and keep watching. Dennis, DSC

hey thanks for the pictures. i wasn't aware that blue thunder has an updated 'thor' head.

if only if ford can get blue thunder thor design and stamp their name on it for nhra prostock.

anyone know or heard of anyone actually using the thor cylinder head besides cale aronson. by the way cale aronson 05' mustang runs better than 7.14 N/A at 2800 lbs. with a 698 cid motor wearing thors.

I believe the car that won the National Mustang Racers Association Pro points for 2007 was a 650 cu in thor headed motor with 4 stages of nitrous. I sure it was WAY over 2000 hp. Unfortunately they axed the class for 2008.

do you know the whole capability of the flow numbers? I mean charlie a little while ago posted the E head numbers and they almost hit 600 cfm on the intake, I think like 593 or so at almost an inch of lift. will these thor 2 heads be able to surpass the E heads when fully ported?
