It isn't the exact gun I thought I was purchasing. The way that these guns are numbered it's hard to tell the differance. I wanted the one that would shoot the 3" .410 shell instead of the 2.5" (Which I bought). The gun shop said that the only differance was the 2.5" barrel or a 3" barrel. Which I bought the 3" barrel but from looking at the website they only offer it in one barrel length.

Confused!

Who makes good holsters? I want one that I can wear on the inside on my pants.

Hey Jones,

I've seen these in magazines, they look like a handfull:eek:. How is the recoil on a little animal like that?

Very nice looking piece.

I just got back from trying a couple of rounds. I shot some target 45 loads, .410 000 buckshot and express loads. The recoil wasn't bad at all plus the gun was dead on! I didn't really like the 000 buck, the grouping wasn't as tight as I expected. The 45 was just like like any other 45 revolver. But the gun really cam alive with the exspress loads!!! I really liked the 1-1/2 oz #4 shot.

The only drawback is the .410 shells are hard to eject. It's almost like the brass expands a little. I had to pick at the brass with my finger nail to find one that was loose enough to come out. Then once I got two out I could use the ejector. The express loads where a little easier to come out due to the brass being longer. Where the 000buck had a short brass and seemed to expand more.

I think I would have to keep the .45 colt rounds in the revolver. Unless I can find a good express load that I know would stop an intruder.

Edit: I went back the gunshop and tried to clear-up exactly which gun I bought. Come to find out I have the 2-1/2 chamber not the 3". I really wanted the 3" chamber but they seem to be hard to find and the price jumps-up a couple of hundred dollars.

I see in the gun's write up that judges like it for up close & personal defense. Is being a moderator so bad now that you need to carry a gun ??? :D:D:D
No,, LOL

I do atleast 2hrs driving everyday through the middle of no where plus I tend to travel around alot. I had also been needing a gun for home protection, plus one the wife can use. A while back we noticed where some tried to jimmy or door to our house. Plus with folks knowing where I live and some of the exspensive toys I have around.

I know it! I felt bad after I bought it but I had been looking for a handgun for over 8 years now and I just couldn't find that one that spoke to me. Then they came out with this and I thought it over for a couple of months. Then the Lord blessed me with some extra money this week and the wife talked me into it.

I kept telling the wife that I feel bad because that could have been a fuel pump!

I went the HP department to get my paper work for my CL. When the lady asked me what I needed I told her. Then she said, "You look like the type that carries a consealed weapon!" I didn't really know what to say after she said that!?!

Optional equipment : Hammer and/or welder's wire brush . CONSEALED ! ? , The Matt Dillon look would be more effective I.M.O. If one wants not to be messed with the "heat" should be displayed ......down side is the cops would be skeered and call for back up and have you arrested ...........LOL

You need to load in a similar fashion as my 22 mag tractor gun. Ratshot, hollowpoint, ratshot hollowpoint - you get the idea. My first shot is usually rat shot for snakes, but the HP for a shunk is only a double **** away

Once you have the concealed permit, if you get pulled over for anything, the first thing they want to know is "Are you armed, or are there weapons in the vehicle?" Here in Arizona, open carry is legal and very common.

Now is as good a time as any to have something like that, get comfy using it.
