Maybe a stupid question, but I have to ask.

I'm going to mount the bottle in the trunk ('79 notch).Does it matter if the bottle (valve) is pointed towards the rear of the car?

valve goes to the front and pointing up. this is done because of the picktube inside of the bottle.
I was aware of the pick-up tube,I just wanted easier access to the valve and line for removal. Thanks

If you have the back seat removed and you will be racing this thing at the track you will need a tube connected to the blow out valve that exits outside of the vehicle. This is so if the blow off valve pops it doesn't fill the drivers compartment with nitrous fumes. You won't want to breath that stuff. Any you may need one anyway with the back seat installed. I'm sure somebody else will chime in on that one. It is just one more thing to consider.

Nitrous is actually a liquid in the bottle, if you mount the bottle backwards the nitrous will flow way from pickup when you accelerate.
That's why I was asking,kinda what I thought but wasn't sure.

I have the back seat in (with firewall),but it will have a tube exiting out.
