Planning to swap a 466 into my 1995 F150. Pushing for over 500 horsepower and I saw on the horsepower chart where 1 7/8 headers are required. I have searched and searched for about a month now on finding some 1 7/8 headers that will fit my truck but have gotten no luck. Posts I've read on here say how Hooker used to sell some pro comps for the 80-86 trucks, which should fit mine but I cant find them on their website anymore. Anyone have any clues? I really really dont want to have to go custom. I can find 1 3/4 headers all over the place, but none that are 1 7/8.

Can I get away with just going 1 3/4?

Thanks guys,
Ben

At 500 hp a 1.75" primary is not going to cost you much if anything at all.
The FPA's with the 1 3/4" primary give up nothing to hooker SC until after 600 hp.

Do with that information what you will. Stan Johnson did the testing.

I have the FPA's on my LTD making 456 Sae NET at the rear wheels.

2" primary is a bit big for your HP level unless you want room to grow...
