My #5 tube is blocking my oil filter, maybe able to go with the shorter 3000 filter, but still close to that heat source.

What would be better, short filter, 90 deg adapter, or remote? Its going in a 67 Mustang with front plate, long tubes.

The short filter and the 90 degree would probably be more reliable than the remote; but the remote gets the filter away from the heat even though the hoses are still relatively close. Whichever you decide on perhaps you should add a heat shield.
