Looking at an oiling schematic for the 385 series, I'm wondering if it would be a good idea to increase the size of the lifter crossover gallery size from 5/16 to 1/2 inch on the side that feeds the mains, then drill into the side of the crossover and feed it with the -12 from dry sump pump.
Any thoughs, thanks

(this is of course assuming the lifters have been bushed and the block is a production block)
I think you need to look at the flow diagram again. The only thang the crossover does is feed the lifters on the left bank. Why would you want more oil there?
