I just saw this post. I know I'm late to the party but I'm not that late.. Maybe I should know this already but I don't. Do you street drive your car and/or could you go with a different master cylidner set up? I put one of the manual master brake cylinder kits on my car from Skinny Kid Racing. It comes with a new aluminium mounting plate that moves the master cylinder over to the outter fender for a bit for more room. The manual master cylinder itself is also pretty small. I had no trouble getting it fitted up and installed myself. Now I have NO trouble getting my valve covers on and off.....and I got BIG valve covers. I don't know if that's an option for you but I thought I'd throw it out there. That master cylinder also had no trouble stopping the car. If you have to press harder I don't really notice but I'm a big fella. It still stops easy.
This is the kit I'm typing about..
