I would like any opinions on my combo, here are the specs;

1. 521 4.3 10:1, p51 heads, stock, c.j. stealth, divider machined down one inch, 1/2" spacer, 850 d.p. 14X3 air cleaner.
cam-Kaase kr2 hydraulic roller , crane z bar lifters, 308/332 @ 0.006"-607/623 lift, 110 lobe center
2. car. w/driver, 3950LB. 71 mach 1, 28X10 slicks, 4000 stall c-6 combo-4.10 rear/cal-tracs.

3. best time 75 degree 300 ft. level track-11.63/119. 5900 r.p.m. shift point. When shift point is raised, car slows.

Tested two different tachs to verify accuracy, full 6.5 pound fuel pressure steady start to end, 1/2" line in tank electric pump. will rev with NO apparant valve float OR sputter any kind up to 6750 rpm, my limit!
If no valve float, lifters should not be limiting factor at 5900 r.p.m.

long story short, why such a low r.p.m. (5900) for best e.t.?

THANK U!! that is exactly what i thought, ran it by nkaase, they said it seemed o.k.?
!. getting minimum valve tip sweep even with tall lifters
2. kaase only speced 140/350 springs , comparable grinds want at least 450 ope, but I am not floating valves.
3. converter shows lockup top end in 2-3 %, good for stall.
4. guessing slick growth 3/4" est. 4.1 gears puts motor around 6100-6200 top end- too much gear.,next closest is 3.91
might help
5. tried dominator 1050/cj ported victor, went slower!
6. seems great ring seal, need to run complete compression/leak down scan to validate this.
To get more idle vacunm what would same cam with 112 then 114 lobe center give? {its only mone$$, right?}:ROFLMAO:
