putting a stealth intake on aluminum heads, torque in book said 20 to 24 ft pounds. torque wrench failed to click. by the time I realized it was not working I over torqued the bolts. nothing cracked or stripped. what will happen when the engine temperature changes, will there be a oops.:(

when you over torque the intake it can smash and slit the gasket causing water to get in the lifter valley and oil pan. Depends on the gasket. I have seen it on Felpro print o seals. Slippery devil when over tightened.
I completely agree with the statement I did the same thing over torqued my intake and pinched my felpro gasket didn't even make it 10 mile be weird noises and temperature issues. SMH walk of shame . Definitely didn't plan on doing This air intake manifold twice
