Block & Crank Price

Steve,

The block was originally a Ford Racing 514 crate motor. We spun the No 2 main after making 17 passes on the motor back in 2005. We sent the motor to Livernouis in Detroit. They did extensive machine work to the block, installed all ARP studs (mains) and fastners. Last week we ran the car at a test & tune in Orlando. Keith noticed the oil pressure was down 10 lbs so we trailered the car and disassembled this week. We found the No 2 and No 4 mains "worn badly". Pistons, rods, cam, all in good shape.

Knowing that you will have to hone the mains and turn the crank, how about $700 for the block and $200 for the crank?

You could buy the block and internals, minimal machine work and you have a GREAT short block?

I would sell the block, crank, cam, pistons/rods and flex plates for $2000.

I'm in Melbourne, you come get it or pay shipping.
