I have a 95 mustang that will weighs about 3000lbs.c6 410ish gears Mostly just used for cruise night with an occasional test and tune session at the track. I will say I know there is no replacement for displacement before I share my plan for you to pick apart (at my request). That said a max hp number it not super important. I want to build a quick revving nasty sounding motor that is just cruise night cool but not a slouch. I have a few d blocks to be tested and some C9 heads. I was thinking a 429 crank 3.590 stroke and either 4.440 or 4.500 bore depending what my block will take. 10.5:1 compression flat tappet lunati cam i have used before. Advertised Duration (Int/Exh): 290/300 ;Duration @ .050 (Int/Exh): 257/265 ;Gross Valve Lift (Int/Exh): .606/.606 ;LSA/ICL: 110/104 ;Valve Lash (Int/Exh): .026/.026. I will use a cheapish SRP forged piston and ARP hardware and eagle crank and rods since low budgetbuild She is sad and dusty but deserve to be back in action. .

Your car is super light with 4.10 gears. That combo will do what you want, but pistons are harder to find for a 429. You'd be better off, cheaper in the long run, and have more torque by going to a 460 rotating set up.
