Push Rod Length on Non Adjustable Rockers

I was just wondering if you measure pushrod length on a non adjustable rocker engine the same as you would with adjustable rockers.

I have a 1996 EFI engine and the machine shop planed .010 off the heads so I have to remeasure the pushrods and I'm not exactly sure how to do it. Most of the things I've read on here, I think, tells how to measure for pushrods on adjustable rockers.

I looked online and googled and searched and all I can find is how to measure for adjustable rockers. So any help would be appreciated.

With the rocker arm torqued in place, the lifter preload should be between around .040" and .080" on the lifter plunger. THAT will be the correct pushrod length.
To set it up for high performance, shimming each individual rocker fulcrum after that to attain .020" to .040" lifter plunger preload is prefered.
Thanks for the reply. That's exactly what I was looking for. :D
