The last ones I bought (quite a while back) I got from Bill Mitchel. Not sure what brand they are, but they have a nice selection and they hold up fine. Reher Morrison sells them also.

Hardest thing on carbide burrs is if you let them chatter in a close area, like between the bowl and guide boss. Use a smaller burr in these areas so they don't bounce around in there and chip.

I have tried several different sources for burrs and I

...have found most all of them to be of the same quality.

The primary consideration is to have the right burr for the job. for removing large amounts of material you need to get large burrs 3/4" is about the largest I have found.

As Bob Meyer stated DO NOT let the burr chatter as it will damage and chip the cutting flutes. As or even more important is DO NOT let the burrs overheat. I keep a can of glycol based coolant mixed with a bit of water to dip the bit when it gets too hot. This vastly extends the useful life of any carbide burr be it for ferrous or aluminum removal.
