Wanting it in my 67 Cougar XR7.
Block is complete, no heads.
Intend to drive occasionally on the street and to meet ups..
Looking for recommendations for heads.
Open to suggestions on intake and fuel delivery systems too.

Have a cam in mind and what type of pistons you running? What's your wallet's pain level?
What is the engine build thus far? Pistons (this is important due to valve relief for a particular head), bore, crank, is it a stock crank or a stroker? As mentioned above do you have the cam? What are the specs and what horse power level are you looking to attain? More information needed.

side bar note...In 67 (tasca)did a notch to the towers to fit the full frame 427 heads.Same'o for the 460.Drop the arms an inch.and the header bolts, and plugs are hand reachable.
What pistons are in the shortblock?
Stock currently.

Haven't started the build yet. Just acquired stock shortblock. It's an empty page.

Stock crank , shopping for a cam, it's just going to cruise around. Looking for decent power and reliability.
