Budget ported D3 castings std valve size. $1,025.00 plus shipping

Budget early castings, std valve size. $1095.00 exchange

Large valve early castings start at $1,699.00 exchange.

Large valve D3 castings start at $1,649.00 outright plus shipping.

Late model fuelie heads available to order on an exchange basis. Small and large valve available.

This is a great deal.

I had $1600 in a set of iron heads between hardware and machine work...and that's with me porting them. To have a professional like Scott doing the proven port work it doesn't make sense to do them yourself.

D3 large valve heads available...

2.25" / 1.75" valves
Comp 924-16 spring package
p/c seals
Fully ported
pedestals cut for studs and guideplates

They will be fully refurbished, tweeked on the bench by yours truely and ready to rock and roll.

These castings were a traded in deal with a client and have little use but wil be redone anyway before I put the RHP name on them.

In max effort trim passenger car castings can easily support in excess of 700 HP. The RHP best so far is 730 HP in a 7,200 rpm 472 in max effort mud truck combo.

D3 exhaust port now flowing a verified 200 cfm with out pipe at .500" lift 340 cfm intake at .700" lift
Dove exhaust a bit better.

Iron heads are application ported to enhance exhaust flow with aftermarkets typical header designs that turn abruptly off of the flange.

With additional development work over the course of the last several months we are ready to announce with pride new max effort flow rates for the iron passener car heads.

These numbers apply to both the early castings and also the D3's !!!
These are flow rates for the Standard intake port entry. They are not CJ or Victor matched.

intake flow rates std entry:

.500" 302 to 307
.600" 329 to 332
.700" 340 to 343
.800" 350 to 355

Exhaust flow rates: D3 / D0VE

.400" 187 / 172
.500" 200 / 195
.600" 196 / 200
.700" 195 / 196

Due to different port shapes and porting styles needed for the unique needs of the D3 vs D0 heads the exhaust rates are different...

These numbers for exhaust are with out pipe. In order to verify results the casting(s) have been triple checked having been flowed on my bench, dave mclains sf 110 and brett powells sf600...

Brett powells bench gave the best intake numbers with somewhat more conservative exhaust rates which he stated that his bench is exhaust conservative.

My bench is stingy on intake flow rates till 600" lift due to the ultra high depressions i flow at low lifts...

For class racers who must use iron heads or the street guy who wants to smack chevy boys with lincoln heads here is the best we have to offer...
