I am running 821 Centerline Qualifiers that i chucked up in a boring mill and spot faced and drilled front and back of rims for tire screws... Now.. when i installed the screws they went into the rims, but never seated into the tire bead.. they just pushed the tire away from the rim... My tires are 32x16.5 15's GoodYears... Do i need to drill the rim out so the screw doesn't come up tight on the rim but in the bead of the tire? I used the drill bit supplied with the screws...?? Thanks!!

Are the tires aired up?

Yes aired up... with tubes... The screws come up tight on the rims before the screw grabs hold of the bead of the tire...

i had the same problem I just increased tire pressure and it was ok

longer screws that grab and pull the tire into the wheel,or pre tap the tire with a smaller bit.

That's not uncommon. Put them on the car and when the weight of the car sits down on them they will be pressed into the tire.
