Searched and found a few posts from years ago about the Speedmaster CJ Hi rise, but never saw if anyone got one and evaluated it. I've been trying to get a Victor, but with Covid the availability keeps getting worse.
This is available and was wondering if anyone has real world experience with it. From what I can see, the underside of the carb pad would be hard to make flow well even after opening it up to a 4500 cloverleaf. Unfortunately can't find any pics of the plenum, just the portion of a pic I was able to blow up and enhance. Can't tell about port alignment either, but appears to be plenty of meat for port matching.

I have 2 of those intakes on the shelf as well as a Dominator flange ford motorsports victor. Victor is for sale BUT only with a T2 trade / offset.

Suffice to say the PC intake has the same messy plenum that the victor has but it can be cleaned up to work well.

The runner exits are standard size BUT are actually near CJ height unlike the victor.
I feel this intake would work well on a smaller engine like a 460 due to smaller runner cross section vs. the victor / motorsports intake.
Not a bad piece for the $$$

This would be for my 545 build. I have the Torker II and HP 950 I was going to run on the boat, may shelve them to see how far I take the second block.

I received and modified one for a 500-inch engine build. It looked real nice out of the box. I enlarged the runner exits to SCJ runner size. The aluminum material cut very well. The manifold sat on the engine fine (even flanges, etc) and all the manifold bolt holes lined up no problem. The intake seemed realy nice to me, comparable to a Victor, and I have no complaints. The customer is still building his '23 Coupe so the engine has not yet been started.

Looks like I'll be getting a Motorsport intake here pretty quick, but It'd be fun to get the PCE to play with. Might still be worth it considering how quickly prices are inflating.
