Not sure what stock spring pressure is on D3 heads but do you see any issue using the stock lifters with the increased spring pressure from a set of edelbrock 60669's? Seat pressure on them are 120 not sure on open pressure. Cam is .530/.530 lift.

No not at this point just the new heads and new 3/8 push rods.

The OEM cam and lifters will easily handle the eddy spring package.

I would closely check the original lifters and cam lobes for abnormal wear brought about by the lack of ZDDP in modern oils.

With oem pistons you can not get too aggressive with cam timing without enlarging the oem valve notches for radial clearance.

The cam / lifters are aftermarket (no name ) .530 lift and I believe duration is 218 @ .050. Pistons are trw 12cc domes. Figured the increase pressure would be ok but wanted to get a second opinion.

Good point on the zinc
