I have a Moroso Stage 1 oil pan that has a "kick-out" in front of the starter.

There is only 7 3/4" for the starter. My "usual" Nippondenso starter is 8" and a Tilton I have is 8 1/4". Any ideas on which starter might fit this? Maybe it's time for a new pan?

I figured it out. It's my 1/4" midplate.

DB starters are Chinese junk! Wait till it ruins your flex plate! Been there done that!

I love reading people's complaints without any solutions. The Denso starter is actually Japanese. It is also "new", not rebuilt. I am open to buying American, if available. Give us a better option!
