There should e at least 2 bolts holding it on. Look again... In some case's 3 bolts

OMG I feel dumb. I'm going to go check this right now.The top bolt comes in from the backside, through the bell-housing then into the starter.
Guess I should have said that... You should see that the starter is threaded in the top hole as wellOMG I feel dumb. I'm going to go check this right now.

It takes all kinds! Sometimes the obvious is over-looked. I saw a dumb-arse try to beat the heads off of a cleveland without removing the valve covers, he said "I got all the bolts out"!Guess I should have said that... You should see that the starter is threaded in the top hole as well
