Okay so I’m starting to pull my hair out over all the little details of going to the straight up timing, I’m down to what I hope is my final question. I’m stuck between the Ford Performance timing set, and the Cloyes street billet. My question is, on my otherwise stock 460, utilizing the two piece fuel pump eccentric, do I need to change my cam thrust plate or not? I’ve seen answers all over the board. If I do, is there something I can get that will bolt right in place without machining the cam gear? This is going in a heavy pickup predominantly used for towing, RARELY sees over 4k. Please let me know, still new to the engine world. Thank you!
