I am putting the alternator and AC compressor on the passenger side. The power steering pump gets the driver side to itself. It needs to run a rack and hydro-boost.

It will be V belt driven, and needs the pulley to be about 7.5 inches in front of the head, and low enough for the belt to be under an electric water pump.

And, it is my wife's car, and she wants it "pretty".

I use a Delco / Saginaw P/S pump, old style but it works.

Pretty sold on the PSC pumps. Reworked saginaws. Very quality and a lot of options for set up. Just google PSC power steering.

X4 on the saginaw they are capable of higher pressure.are more compact, and don't seem to suffer from the aerated oil whine as bad as the TRW.Plus since you are running hydroboost you know they are compatible,I don't recall ever seeing a TRW pump running hydroboost.
