I just wanted to say thanks to all the members that have helped me out over the last couple years. I wouldnt know where to start naming every one who has helped. This has been a 4yr project that finally rolled down the track last night!!!

I got to make 2 passes last night, both were no burn out, foot brake passes from 1500rpm. 1st was an easy pass to about 1/2 track it ran a 13.17 @ 78mph. The 2nd pass was to about 1000ft and it ran
60' ... 1.60
330 ... 4.40
1/8 ... 6.74
MPH ... 105.21
1000 ... 8.87
ET ... 11.05
MPH ... 96.38
At Bandimere 6000'

Cant wait to get up to the track again that was the most fun Ive had in a long time. Maybe Ill have this thing dialed in by the 2010 Bash.

Thanks again, Mike

Not to bad for your first time out, your doing the right thing not gunning it from the get go, take slow and easy and make sure it goes straight

Thanks guys. Heres a link to the pictures in the "show us your ride thread" if they dont come up its on page 27. The Blue Fairlane at the top of the page.

http://460ford.com/forum/showthread.php?t=107851&highlight=mico&page=27

The car is a 64 Fairlane, full chassis car with a 557 Ahead engine. I did all of the work to the car except the machine work on the engine. That was done by a board member at Blue Oval Performance here in Denver. The engine is based on Dave McLains 557 build.

Bruce, my carb is a Pro Systems Dominator that flows 1130cfm. It has 88 main jets on all 4 corners.

Im going to run it again tomorrow and hopefully get some good info to start getting this thing dialed in!!
