Well guys, after about 2 years of on and off work, my 84 coupe came to life today. Still have some odds and ends to tidy up, but it's alive! Oh, and it really pissed off ALL the neighbors. Race mufflers might be in its future!
The motor is a C9VE 472". D0VE heads, mild port work, Performer RPM intake, HEI distributor, Holley 850 dual feed and a Comp Cams Mutha Thumper 234. Made 496 on the dyno. The trans is a C6, added clutches, roller bearings, manual valve body, 2500 stall
Ok, a few changes coming to the Panda. I got a set of Kaase P-51s and a Victor for it. That being said, I need a new rotating assembly. For now, I need to keep the factory block alive. Compression ratio isn't an issue. Anybody have any suggestions on good kits/parts for a race only motor? Thanks!
