Where are you from? I have several friends going, I'm on long break and was thinking about ridin with one of them. I'm in the middle of putting more lift on my truck right now, hopefully it will be done in time for our county fair mud bog.

Over on chucks trucks theres people goin from as far as Florida to Minnesota. Sounds like a crazy a$$ time.

Look at the videos on youtube, lots of fun.

im from PA, bout 2 hours north of pittsburgh
Well looks like i'll not be going to Yankee Lake. Ive decided to stay home and work on my junk to make sure its ready for the local fair since its the only bog my family can come to.

Are taking a truck to mud or just going to watch?
well ive just decided to take my tires to try and sell them there and was gonna try to sell a set of axles there to... do you know if people take there used stuff to sell since this is a big one?? the last truck event i went to there was used parts everywhere and tires...

but no im not takin the truck since its my first time, im just gonna go and see how everything works then ill know next time what to expect. plus i have a local fair mud bog the following week to and dont wanna bust it up!
I dont think it would hurt to take some things and put a 4sale sign on them, but, the way some people are these days, you'd have to keep an eye on them. They might get up and walk away while your watching the action.

Shoot me a PM of what you have for sale.

You ever go to powerline park? That place is pretty fun and if all goes well I should be going labor day weekend.

is their any kind of rules for the pit that has bounty.. i would like to get some info.. i really would like a shot @ the 700.00. does the bounty go up if nobody makes it this week..thanks eric
i couldnt find a pic and im not sure if it goes up or not... my first time will be tommorow, what you got to run?!
well actually that is what made it through it, what looked-to-be a stretched jeed with paddle tires and a gnarly motor.. he skimmed it and the only other truck i seen even try was biggggg and heavy, i think it was a duece shortened

Well that sucks cause i called him and he said i couldn't run their...wonder whats up with that...eric
what?!! why couldnt you run there? there was anything from monster trucks, dueces, to geo trackers! unless you had to sign up for the 700$ chance?? its just a big free for all there
what size tires you runnin?? they proably meant like them rail trucks, i dono i was there and most trucks there had huge lifts, 6 foot tires and rockwell rears. and im SURE there motors would be crazy fast if in a normal truck, i have 12 inches of lift and 38's and my truc looked so tiny there!
I watched one of the videos the other night, was not impressed! Looked like they were promoting a drunken free-for-all! Drinking and motorsports of any type do not mix in my opinion. Seen too many people injured or killed at these events when alcohol was involved. There is a time and place for each, never together!

I agree 100%, but when its the only events some of us can participate in, what are ya gonna do? I personally don't drink while i'm playing in the mud and always keep an eye out for idiots doing stupid stuff close to me. Seeing someone violently killed in front of you is a very sobering experience. Thats something I wish I never saw and will never forget. I am not sure alcohol had anything to do with the bad decision made by the person, but it would be a pretty good bet.

I don't know, looks to me like they're promoting them together, which is bad. Although I didn't see any "REAL" trucks on the video, just a bunch of lifted, over-tired, under-powered, under-geared slow *** pieces of [email protected]#$! with drunks acting stupid.
it basically is a free for all when it comes to the muddin and drivin around, but as far as the alcohol goes, it aint as bad as u make it sound. there is numerous police officers there the whole time the event is going on and they are the ones who pass out the wristbands for drinking , and you cant take your own beer in you have to buy it there like food. so if you are drivin around all hammered and holdin a bottle out the window you'll probably get a little visit, watched it happen!
and broncos with 4-6 foot tall tractor tires pullin a wheelie out of a mud hole isnt underpowered or undergeared in my boook.
