Hey guys has there been any update on getting our cars certified or in our case re-certified at the event. Last I heard was they guy that was going to come do the certification was not availabe that weekend and we was looking for someone else to come in his place. I have not seen any updates since that last post, has there been any change, will there be a chance to get re-certified, I sure hope so. Also we are still hoping to try to get NHRA drivers license at the event is that still an option? We are really ready to come and get it on. Car is running best it has ever run so the next several weeks are going to go by real slow.

You should still be able to get the license passes in. I would be more than happy to sign off for you or anyone needing the same. We also need our car re certified so that would be great if that can happen as well!! I can only imagine what the car will do this year because it was running pretty well last year till the wishbone went south. Can't wait to see ya'll this year. Its gonna be a BLAST!!

I wished that I knew of someone but I don't. David Willianham has a name and number that did it for us last time but I have not had any luck contacting David lately as he is one busy guy. I think that this guy lives somewhere in Tennessee, boy I wished we could pull this off but we may not can by the end of July.

I just tried to call Mr. Edwards but got no answer. Maybe others have tried to call also, we must keep trying because so many of us wanted to get certified or re-certified.

I tried again this morning and still got no answer. I will try again later this afternoon. I wanted to give Mr. Edwards a call last night but went home from work and left his number on my desk. If I don't get him this afternoon I plan to try him again tonight, someone needs to make contact with him and soon!!!

Yes you can get an NHRA license just running 1/8 mile distance. I have several buddys that have licenses that were aquired only running the 1/8 mile. I don't know how many were originally signed up for the cancelled April event to try for their licenses but there was several and several guys who now have licenses has offered to witness the runs and sign off with Phillip and his guys conducting the tests. Now if only we can get an NHRA inspector on the property to conduct the checks to get the cars certified or in our case re-certified we will be ready to "Git-er-done".

Hey; Mr. F150; please check the phone number for Mr. Bryon Edwards @ (270) 443-4996. I have been calling this number yesterday and today and have yet to get an answer at all. I will take the number home with me tonight and try again later, maybe he don't get home until later in the evening.

I got mine on an 1/8th mile track eleven years ago. Perfectly legitimate
way to do it.

Car Re-certified

Sign us up!

Our Mustang needs chassis re-certified. It is good until September so we are OK even if Mr. Edwards can't make it.

Your chasis does not have to be certified to run this event but we thought it would be a good time for several of us to do it as a group and try to save some money. That includes getting your chassis certified and or NHRA drivers license. Friday will be a big time busy day because of everything that is going on but will be a great time to fellowship and meet the other guys and gals.
