I have a pair of d0ve-c heads, I bought from a member, he said they were from a running engine, just needed a little clean up, so I took out all the valves in one head, and one set in the other head, I have kept them in order, and I was going to clean them up , and try to port out the exh hump a little, and put them back together and run them, I've had to give up , for NOW, but who knows Atl. might start building any year now, LOL.. looking to get 200 firm plus shipping

and the valves

pics of the valves, the 2 way on the left side, is for the head with one set taken out.

and out of all the stuff I'm just listing the last couple days, I would trade out for a good set of heads for a stock 302, pm me for more info if your interested at all. I dont want to run all the stuff here.

i have a set of 289 heads with 194x160 valves and screw in studs and guide plates with spring good for a 575 lift cam. 50 cc chambers add alot of compression. They went 7.80 on a 302 flattop motor in a mustang 2 street car. I might work somthing out if interested. ,,ED

Hey Ed, do you have any pics, I'm not real exp. with heads, compression ratio and all.
what year are they, 289? , am interested , I have a stock 91 302 engine in my 88 gt, I have a trick-flow street intake for it,Trick-flow stage 2 cam , bbk 1 3/4 " long tubes, Bassani 2.5" x-pipe, and not sure what mufflers,I'm gonna put on it. and I have a FRPP aluminum driveshaft, all to go in the same time, as a new clutch, prob by late spring, I would like to get things sorted out, and have all the pieces in a row, and ready to put in.

it's got a 3:27 gear, max motorsports lower control arms, welded sub frame connectors, and the stock 5-speed, I wouldn't mind using high test 93 gas in it, I only drive it a little bit, a bit more now that ,I got the new pony tires on it. new windsheild, nos cowl, rebuilt my ashtray door , new sunvisors in her,new inst.cluster lenses, I've had it for about 9 yrs now. prob not 10,000 miles on the car from when I first bought it.


just looking to drop a gear, everynow an then, more so than hard launching, as in drag racing Thanxs Rick

289 heads

they been setting for a while. I been planning on sending to machine shop to go through them. They are 65 or 66 with the small chamber. You are supposed to be able to run more compression with these more quench style chambers, you would be around 11 to 1, i would think with fuel injection you would be close to the max on 93 octane. Ran 12 to1 before on pump gas with real healthy cam and so has friends. If you are interested you can call me at 16183840444 and we can talk more about them. Have you gotten rid of them yet?I have a set of mid 90's mustang heads that I could port match,de-lump and open the ex side,do a triple angle valve job,and cut the guide for perfect circle style seals if you want.Let me know if you'd be interested.
