Just bought a new set of Ford Racing Valve Covers....Part # M-6582-R460they have six hold down holes and the Ford SCJ heads I have have seven holes tapped in the heads? They work ok or did they send me the wrong ones? Top of head next too intake has three holes tapped...valve covers have two.

thats how mine are to just use the holes that are there thats what i did and mine dont leak a drop

Same for P51 heads and Ford Racing vc's... 7 on the head, 6 on the vc...

Don't worry, they work fine. I've had a set on my motor for about 8 years now, not a leak ever. The aluminum covers don't bend or twist like the stamped steel ones, so leaks are less common.
