well we have a small track hear for the diehard racers it is only 384 ft long . so this is some video of my 90 mostang coupe with a 460 . stock 460 except headers .cam, and intake and 1050 dom . so simple boltons. a c-6 with a 3500 stall. ford 9-inch with 4.56 gears ladder bars. 28.5 by 10.5 slicks.
the car is 2850 lbs with out me in the car and i am a little over 200lbs.

my best times is 60ft 1.569 / 330ft et 4.533 / mph 81.64 / 384 ft et 4.984

i figure get it to run straight first then more motor . it dont stop to bad for a short shutdown area.

the 65 comet has been around for years he is the oringle owner of the car it still has the plastic on the back seat.. 347 with dule 4,s under the hood.

how do you guys think i can get the 60ft down . i still think it is to high . i spin the tires some times .
i average is 1.56 to 1.67 60ft. i think the rear spring is to much at 250lbs . what do all you think . it is a ladder bar car also

hey mac 460 whats the specs on your cam lift mainly, what intake are you running. im curious to how your getting away with running a 1050 dominator on a 460 thats alot of carb. :idea: whats your jetting on it.

cam is a crower cam part 22244
lobe center 112
duration @.050 is 246 I .250 E
lift is I .588 . E .604

the intake is a victor 460

the jeting is 86 sq with a 4.5 power valve
dove heads on a stock 1973 bottom end


the more carb i put on the motor the faster it runs

so what do you guys think . shud a ladder bar car squat down or raise up.in the rear end.
