429 crank

I have two cranks in my shed and will have to check the pilot size. I think they make a sleeve to down size these as well. I'm located in the colorado (denver )area.

A couple of ideas

You must have a very early 429 crank if it has the 1.878 pilot. I think in 70 they started using the 1.375.

Here are a couple of suggestions.

1. Have a machine shop make you a ring to fit.
2. Change it to a later crank with a 1.375 pilot.
3. Change the converter. The 428 C-6 used a 1.878 pilot

What stall are you running? I might have a converter that would work for you.

pilot

dont think the 429 crank is bored deep to take smaller pilot. flywheel on crank try conv. if it fits fluch to wheel then a bushing will work
