What if Ford had continued making the Ranchero into the '80's and based the body on the Ford Fairmont?

8) there was a ranchero like vehicle built by one of fords outside builders, and sold through ford dealers in 1980. i forget what the name was though, but it did not sell very well. i saw one in person at the dealer, and it was a well done build and i did wish i had the money to buy one.

Someone might be able to but I doubt I could. I think you would have too much back ground space to fill in working with such a low rez pic.

ccol pics. I also remember back in the late 80's a company was converting the little 2 seater exp's to a pickup. Those were some cool little trucks even if they were built on an Escort platform
Wow that would be a damn small truck bed. I always liked Gliddens EXP from the early '80's so an EXP truck would be kinda interesting too.

Now why can't we have cool stuff like that here in the states? I think it would sell here with no problems.

The Fairmont you have there looks good from the side, as in the first post, but definately needs some rear treatment, where it needs to be squared off with new tail lights.
