What vehicle has a good 8.8 31-spline Trac-Loc?

Hi guys.... Was just wondering??? what vehicle can i find a good solid 31- spline
trac-Loc posi unit I can swap into my reareand..... I'm hoping to find one out of a F-250 F-150 or a V8 Explorer... What years do I look for? and I'm only wanting the Posi-unit and hopefully it has 4:10's in it. Thanx a million!! (My car is a 92-Notch-Back, 545 stroker, 98 GT 8.8 rear-end)

I think the explorers have 31 spline trac locks in them.
X2 the explorer is most common.
F-150s also, when I did mine I rebuilt it with the 03 cobra trac-loc kit from ford,better clutches.

waterslinger is correct. the axles in exploders and trucks have bigger bearings and dont fit the mustang housing. btw the ranger axles use the smaller bearing too.....bobn

Bob, while the bearings may be larger in the truck axles, the carriers are the same, so it will still work for him.

thanks for clearing up the details. as long as you realize you cant use the truck axles but you are good with the truck carrier.....bobn]
Have one im interested in getting rid of if shipping from Nashville is worth it
