This is the original hub that came on my 4x4 Courier.

It has only one bearing and is a 6 lug. DANA 30 axle.

WHERE CAN I GET ANOTHER HUB AT? Thanks.

IIRC, all the Couriers were 6 lug. Have you tried a hub off of an early Wagoneer? I know they were 44's but the hub may inter-change.

This is an original Courier 4x4.

They came over in 2wd from Japan but different 4x4 companies during the 70s converted them to 4 wheel drive.

Sasquatch, Brahma (mine), and Baja.

I have a 1978 Offroad magazine with my Courier in it.

I talked to the guy who made my conversion....Chuck Barnow.

Mazda did the 6 lug pattern since a Courier is part Ford part Mazda.

I will look into that Dana 44 deal but will it fit on my Dana 30 axle?

I re-did the bearings in a Mazda conversion years ago. I'm pretty sure as long as it's for a Dana 30 what ever you find will interchange. I may be wrong, if I am I'm SURE I'll get corrected! lol

I would first try a chevy half ton hub. you should find one at the JY for cheap. your pick looks like a 44 outer. so the 44 stuff may interchange, as its not uncommon for the outers to be the same, IE 50, and 60 outers are the same etc.....
another possibility is a toyota outer. There just was not that many different combinations for this stuff for it not to exist anymore.
Or if you got a ford f150 4x4 outer kicking around try it....may give you an idea what you need.

Edit- another thought is the spindle itself may be different from common stuff but the bolt pattern looks to be the same. you may be able to bolt the whole spindle and outers from any light half or 1/4 ton truck on there. The axle bearing may be something you have to hunt for but a good bearing shop should have, or be able to get you one.

Probably go to parts stores tomorrow to see..

Width across front of hub: 3 1/2"
Length of hub to bottom: About 3"

I have a 97 dodge Dakota and it has 6 lug wheels but it has a front axle that looks like a modified transaxle out of a front wheel drive car with CV shafts and outer bearings with no lockouts

Ford Courier was made by Ford and Mazda. It came with 6 lug as well as a regular Mazda pick-up during the 70s and early 80s.

Once they made the Ford Ranger in 1983 they had it 5 lugged.

So a 6 lug is nothing new for a Ford Courier.

Well, it's out there, but it doesn't say 'specialized auto' or have the part # cast into the back of it like that one.

It's a 6 hole though, and pretty sure it's a 30. I was told when I got it it was out of a 4WD conversion of an early
Datsun pickup. If you're not in a hurry, I'll try to get it home later this week and we can take some measurements.

No hurry. Got to get a new frame anyways. Get a picture of it too.

I think that Datsun might have the Baja conversion (which was done to Couriers too).

Went and grabbed the axle today, but didn't get a hub off yet. Do you need the lock hubs, or
the hub (with the studs in it). What kind of damage does yours have? Just curious. I'll get one
off in the next few days and get a pic and some measurements.
