Where do you albertans get your parts? Those americans got it good summit jegs etc etc. I have used mopac before. Is there a canadian mail order house i havnt heard of. I dont mind buying from the usa but sometimes the customs people stop your parts, or you have to pay a customs broker. I'm getting down to the little things so I will have to be dealing with this more often....

Mopac seems to be the main western warehouse these days. The pricing is close enough to Summit that I'm not interested in dealing with UPS and brokerage charges. Wrong parts shipped across the border can be a real pain. They pay shipping so I've been using them....Don

I get a lot from Summit as they will ship through the mail USPS priorty post . I also has a UPS Shipping account so it make the brokerage a little less . The best is if your close to the border get it drop shipped to an address on the US side of the border and run down and pick it up yourself . I'm in Brooks ,Alberta and a bunch of us guy's get parts shipped to sweetgrass montana and there is somebody running to the border(2hr drive) once a week to pick up parts for everyone

Ya what Frank says. Also there is another option like Mopac (actually their competion) but is called Performance parts unlimited in Edmonton and Calgary. Also for Ford specific Aldon in parts @ MGM Ford is really good to deal with and will sometimes match these other places as they get it all from the same warehouse. Also at the back of the old Acklands building the machine shop is operating and can get good deals on rotating assemblies, pistons, bearings and all the maching, ask for Jordie(Ford guy). Hope this helps Mark L.

Performance Parts on 32 Ave in Calgary. Go east off the Deerfoot and it's on thr RH side at the east end of the building across from the golf course.
Talk to Will, Clint , Vic or Pete. They're all great to deal with.

Pro-Stock in Edmonton (453-6161 ??). Talk to Randy. They are always super busy so sometimes you might have to wait.

A couple of tips when ordering from anyone:

1. ask if they have it in stock
2. ask how long it will take if it is not in stock
3. if they have to order from the US it always takes an extra day to get through customs (even if you pay for overnight service)

Most places now a days have a buyer groups where they will get together and place large orders to compete with the large mail order places like Jegs and Summit. If you don't want to waste time or are worried about paying too much just ask them straight out, I want this part # for xx amount of dollars can you do it yes or no.
