Bus cranks are cast...in fact I just tossed a large snout 370/429 cast crank.

CBR, you need the F600 & up commercial 429 truck crank.

Paul
It sounds like I need one then. Do you have one I can buy ?

I have two 429 steel truck cranks. Give me a call during the day at 419-898-1369 eastern time. We can discuss the details then. Sorry about not entering my own phone number correctly.

Paul, I believe that all 370/429 4v with a air compressor these engines were equipped with steel cranks. F-series and B-series.

How does the air compressor play into the game of finding the golden egg?

Thanks

Look for a air brake chassis, (F,B or even a C-series).
Alot of the B-series back then used Lucus and Girling brakes.
