Well I guess I'll have to do some researching, unless you can fill me in on what decides if I need a reverse rotation gear or not, and will I need to pull the cover off to see if mines thick or thin? Sorry not to familiar with the sp.ecifics of my d60

Yes thin gear goes with wide carrier that is lower than 4.10 Larger numerical numbers. I had to have a wide gear machined to a thin one for it to work in my wide locker. Thick gears are readily
available.

So a 5.13 thin gear will fit on a numerically lower ratio carrier?

Thin gear is 4.56 and up carrier thick gear would work on your carrier. Or there used to be ring gear spacers to put thin gear on your carrier.
