Raced in Mildura at Easter. Would love to do the full 1/4 but no where to go!!!! Nothing here in Adelaide for the next couple of years, Calder on and off again and Heathcote cancelling all further racing till further notice!!!

Anyone else out there got some 1/8mile times for a 3800lb car?

Beaut car - just love the hard-top style, looks waay better than the four-doors.

Love your detailing too - there's too many cars around with glossy paint UNTIL you open the bonnet (hood for the USA guys) then they look like a vultures nest in the engine-bay.

gosh i just fell in love that car is clean as fvck ...wow..i love how simple and clean the engine bay is , really nice work + car.

Haha.. looks badass!!

I wish I had a winter (summer) home down there!!! :D

Finally got around to a few upgrades on the coupe.

Exhuast
The exhaust was a 2 1/2in twin with x pipe which was fitted with the old 460. Now have a 3in mandrel bend twin with pacemaker V-Tex merge ( http://www.pacemaker.com.au/exhaust_merge.html ) , 3in magnaflow mufflers ( Page Not Found ) , finishing into 2 1/2in tail pipes.

Ignition
Also fitted a new igniton consisting of MSD6 programmable( http://www.msdignition.com/Products...able_6AL-2.aspx ), MSD HVC2 coil( http://www.msdignition.com/Products..._Ignitions.aspx ), and MSD leads.

Fuel
Also now using "Premium 100" E10 fuel ( http://www.unitedpetroleum.com.au/index.asp?pgID=65 ).

Thanks.

The extractors were an off the shelf item made by Pacemakers here in Australia. They are for a big block conversion into an Australian Falcon, Try-Y design with 2in primary into a 2 1/4 secondary and collector. They have been modified with a new Chev exhaust port flange and 3in collectors.

The heads are Blue Thunder B heads that flow at 388cfm @ 800, bought from someone who bought them from someone else, thus not knowing who did the original machine work on them.

that engine bay is gorgeous as is the rest of the car fine job! good numbers.....there is more there though i think-
I only use the numbers from the "chassis" dyno as a tuning guide. On a different chassis dyno, before the changes, it made 504hp, maybe i'll go back to that one to make the numbers look better!

Looking forward to yours when it's finished, would like to have a bigblock '70 Torino.
