im trying to find out what the main journal diamater size is in the block and the total allowable variance is. i need the block spec..

OEM spec is 3.1922"-3.1930" All you have to do is call, Ralph. 
I would'nt fret if you were a few tenths outside of spec. Also, roundess of bore is equallly (if not more) important and remember that both fastener and fastener torque can affect roundess.

#2 was .0012 smaller than the rest and was causing my bearing clearances to be too tight, so i took the block in to have it align honed
